I have been wanting to run another marathon, I had entered the NYC lottery for the heck of it, I know most people don't get it in. I completely forgot about it and got an e-mail late March that said "Congratulations Stephanie! Your In". I was so excited and part of me was so scared at the same time! A bit older this time around and running an epic course I am serious about providing myself the best self-care so I can do this right and hopefully make it under 5 hours! I have met with a PT to strengthen and balance, will be working with a massage therapist monthly, and lastly will be incorporating cupping on those IT bands and hamstrings! Would love to hear from you and hear what kind of self-care you incorporate in your training.
