Sports massage is a growing field that can help men and women athletes achieve their goals, prevent or reduce the risk of injury and help recover from injury when necessary. Sports massage can be offered at different times depending on the goal. Pre-event massage helps warm the muscles, post-event massage helps with recovery from muscle soreness. Maintenance massage targets strength and flexibility, and rehab massage can help manage pain and speed healing.
As a therapist, I truly enjoy working events! You and people from all over share commons interests such as preventive health, volunteering/charity with the benefit of meeting new people.
